After I went for my evening swim, I dried myself and redonned my gym togs for my sojourn in the upstairs gym. I tried to muster some enthusiasm, but it wasn't easy and it never happened. Exercise. Yoga poses. Planks. No fun.
I struck up a conversation with one of the trainers. "Why are planks regarded so positively." He didn't think they were, but they are essential for "building a strong core." That seems to be a big word these days iin the fitness department. A strong core. Meanwhile, I don't know what it is doing for my panniculum.
I believe one can increase ones' abilities at all ages and stages. But this one really strains my brain.
And then comes the next day: My gluteus maximus is maximally strained. My upper arms don't want to move. And I sure as all heck don't feel particularly enhances in my sexuality.
Tuesday, 8/22: Now is the conclusion of my first week of Panniculum extermination. I can say I felt a flutter of a susurration when I was bridging. Of course, planking takes it all away and gives me reflux.
