Panniculus be gone: Day 1

In my quest for perfectability, I decided (mostly due to the fact that the organizations I approached to do panniculus reduction classes didn't have the "bandwidth") to do a self-study.  Of course, I needed to find a guide to start the process.  So I went to the Y and got a body fitness scan.  Unfortunately, they don't do calipers anymore, which would give a better measurement of the area.  

I wonder now if it is even possible.  The trainer did know what a panniculus was, and in her estimation part of the process of its formation is due to sitting, where "all the fat settles down."  Makes sense, doesn't it.  And look what profession I'm in.  

Nonetheless, I persist.  I reviewed with her planking and other basic exercises.  I resolve daily to practice for 1/2.  In one month, I will go back and get another body scan.  Then in two months, another.  Let's see what happens. 

It can't be forever.
